Presented by the Mozart Higday Trust and in collaboration with Landlocked Opera, this comedic opera by Mozart conducted by MSO Music Director Wilbur Lin takes on a modern look stylized after AMC's hit television series Mad Men, and tells the tale of the twists and turns of a single, chaotic day – the wedding day of Figaro. From the first notes of the famous overture to the Count’s lesson in marital fidelity, The Marriage of Figaro conveys a story in which the women are portrayed as wiser, shrewder and more civilized than the men.
